Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 17:940

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Jami' ibn Shaddad, from 'Amir ibn 'Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr, from his father, who said: I said to al-Zubayr, "O my father, why do I not hear you narrating from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, as I hear Ibn Mas'ud and so-and-so and so-and-so?" He said, "I have not parted from him since I accepted Islam, but I heard a word from him saying: 'Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him take his seat in the Fire.'"
