Hadith 17:955
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from his father, he said: It was said to Abu Wa'il, "Which of you is older? Are you the older one, or Rabi' ibn Khuthaym?" He said, "I am older than him in age, and he is greater than me in intellect."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن مهدي عن سفيان عن أبيه قال قيل لأبي وائل أيكما أكبر أنت الأكبر أو الربيع بن خثيم قال أنا أكبر منه سنا وهو أكبر مني عقلا
