Hadith 17:96
Jarir ibn Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "A child shall not compensate his father, unless he finds him as a slave, then he purchases him and sets him free."
حدثنا جرير بن عبد الحميد عن سهيل بن أبي صالح عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا يجزئ ولد والده إلا أن يجده مملوكا فيشتريه فيعتقه
