Hadith 17:960
Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Imran ibn Muslim, from Ibrahim al-Taymi, from his father, who said: We were sitting with Umar ibn al-Khattab when a man entered upon him and greeted him. Then a man from the people praised him to his face. Umar said: "You have slaughtered the man—may Allah slaughter you—you praise him to his face regarding his religion."
حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن عمران بن مسلم عن إبراهيم التيمي عن أبيه قال كنا قعودا عند عمر بن الخطاب فدخل عليه رجل فسلم عليه فأثنى عليه رجل من القوم في وجهه فقال عمر عقرت الرجل عقرك الله تثني عليه في وجهه في دينه
