Hadith 17:996
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Khalid narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Malik ibn ‘Umayr, who said: A man stood up and spoke in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, until the corners of his mouth foamed. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Learn, and beware of the 'shaqashiq' (the blustering/rhetorical flourishes) of speech, for the 'shaqashiq' of speech are from Satan."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا بن أبي خالد عن عبد الملك بن عمير قال قام رجل فتكلم بين يدي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حتى ازبد شدقاه فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم تعلموا وإياكم وشقاشق الكلام فإن شقاشق الكلام من الشيطان
