Hadith 17:998
Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Karim, from Mujahid, who said: He used to dislike that one should say, "O Allah, do not test me except with that which is best." And he would say: Allah the Exalted said: "And We test you with evil and good as a trial."
