Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 23:117

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, he said: Malik ibn Mighwal narrated to us, from Zubayd, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "How have you reached the morning, O Harith ibn Malik?" He said: "I have reached the morning as a true believer." He said: "Indeed, for every statement there is a reality, so what is the reality of that?" He said: "I have reached the morning having turned my soul away from the world, keeping my night awake, and keeping my day thirsty. And it is as if I am looking at the Throne of my Lord, which has been brought forth for the reckoning. And it is as if I am looking at the people of Paradise visiting one another in Paradise, and it is as if I am hearing the howling of the people of the Fire." He said: So he said to him: "A servant whose heart Allah has illuminated with faith. Since you have known, then hold fast."
