Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 23:160

Hawdha ibn Khalifa narrated to us, he said: Awf narrated to me, from Yazid al-Farisi, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) in a dream during the time of Ibn Abbas over Basra. He said: I said to Ibn Abbas, "I saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) in a dream." Ibn Abbas said: "For the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to say: 'Indeed, the Shaytan cannot resemble me, so whoever sees me in a dream has indeed seen me.'"
