Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 23:18

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Hisham bin ‘Urwah narrated to us, from his father, who said: Do not let the prayer of a man or his fasting deceive you; whoever wishes may fast, and whoever wishes may pray. Behold, there is no religion for the one who has no trustworthiness.
