Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, he said: Sulayman ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us, from Humayd ibn Hilal, from al-Ala’ ibn Ziyad al-Adawi, who said: I saw in a dream as if I were seeing an old woman, large, one-eyed, and the other eye was almost gone, and her adornment was a strange thing. I said: "Who are you?" She said: "The world (al-dunya)." I said: "I seek refuge in Allah from your evil." She said: "If it pleases you to seek refuge from my evil, then hate the dirham."
