Hadith 23:212

'Affan narrated to us, he said: Jarir ibn Hazim narrated to us, he said: It was said to Muhammad ibn Sirin that so-and-so is laughing. He said: "And why should he not laugh? For one who is better than him has laughed." I was told that 'Aisha said: "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, laughed at a dream a man narrated to him—a laughter the likes of which I have never seen him laugh at anything more intense." Muhammad said: "And I have come to know what the dream was and its interpretation. He saw as if his head had been severed, so he went to follow it. The head was the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and the man was wanting to catch up with the deed—the deed of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—and he would not reach it."
