Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 23:56

Abu Usama narrated to us, from Mahdi ibn Maymun, from Imran al-Qasir, from Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah, who said: Abu al-Darda used to say: "O Allah, I ask You for a lasting faith, a beneficial knowledge, and a righteous guidance." Mu'awiyah said: "So you see among faith, a faith that is not lasting; and among knowledge, a knowledge that does not benefit; and among guidance, a guidance that is not righteous."
