Hadith 4:102
Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from ‘Ubayd Allah, from Ibn ‘Abbas, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fasted in the year of the Conquest until he reached al-Kadid, then he broke his fast. And the latter of the actions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is what is to be taken.
حدثنا بن عيينة عن الزهري عن عبيد الله عن بن عباس أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم صام عام الفتح حتى بلغ الكديد ثم افطر وانما يؤخذ بالأخر من فعل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
