Hadith 4:142
Ibn Idris narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from Ibrahim, from Alqama, regarding the saying of the Exalted: "And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] - a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [is due]." He said: "It was abrogated by the verse that follows it: 'So whoever among you witnesses the month, let him fast it.'"
