Hadith 4:147
Abu Bakr narrated to us, Isma'il bin 'Ulayyah narrated to us, from al-Jurayri, from Abu al-Ward bin Thumamah, from al-Lajlaj, who said: We used to travel with Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, for three miles, and he would shorten the prayer and break his fast.
حدثنا أبو بكر ثنا إسماعيل بن علية عن الجريري عن أبي الورد بن ثمامة عن اللجلاج قال كنا نسافر مع عمر رضي الله عنه ثلاثة أميال فيتجوز في الصلاة ويفطر
