Hadith 4:151
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim al-Taymi, from his father, who said: I was with Hudhayfah in al-Mada'in. He said: So I asked his permission to return to my family. He said: "I will not give you permission except on the condition that you resolve not to break your fast until you enter [your home]." He said: And that was during Ramadan. I said: And I resolve upon myself that I will not break my fast and I will not shorten [my prayer] until I reach my family.
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم التيمي عن أبيه قال كنت مع حذيفة بالمدائن قال فاستأذنته في الرجوع إلى أهلي فقال لا آذن لك الا على ان تعزم ان لا تفطر حتى تدخل قال وذلك في رمضان قلت وانا اعزم على نفسي ان لا افطر ولا اقصر حتى آتي اهلي
