Hadith 4:154
Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Mansur, from Rib'i, from a man among the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Do not precede the month unless you see the crescent or complete the count. And do not break the fast until you see the crescent or complete the count."
حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن منصور عن ربعي عن رجل من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا تقدموا الشهر الا ان تروا الهلال أو تكملوا العدة ولا تفطروا حتى تروا الهلال أو تكملوا العدة
