Hadith 4:158
Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, Ubayd Allah ibn Umar narrated to us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) mentioned the crescent moon and said: "When you see it, then fast, and when you see it, then break your fast. But if it is obscured from you, then count thirty."
حدثنا محمد بن بشر حدثنا عبيد الله بن عمر عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج عن أبي هريرة قال كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ذكر الهلال فقال اذا رأيتموه فصوموا واذا رأيتموه فأفطروا فان غم عليكم فعدوا ثلاثين
