Hadith 4:160
Waki’ narrated to us, from Abu al-Umays, from al-‘Ala’ ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Ya’qub, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When it is the middle of Sha’ban, then abstain until Ramadan comes."
حدثنا وكيع عن أبي العميس عن العلاء بن عبد الرحمن بن يعقوب عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اذا كان النصف من شعبان فامسكوا حتى يكون رمضان
