Hadith 4:258
Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Mujahid, regarding a man who has fasting remaining from Ramadan: whether he should separate his fasting or perform it consecutively. He said: "Indeed, Allah desires ease for His servants, so let him look at what is easiest for him. If he wishes, he may perform it consecutively, and if he wishes, he may separate it."
حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن أبي إسحاق عن مجاهد في الرجل يكون عليه صوم من رمضان فيفرق صيامه أو يصله قال إن الله أراد بعباده اليسر فلينظر أيسر ذلك عليه إن شاء وصله وإن شاء فرق
