Hadith 4:28
Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Al-A’mash narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Every deed of the son of Adam is multiplied; the good deed is ten times its like, up to seven hundred times." Allah the Exalted said: "Except for fasting, for it is for Me, and I reward for it. He leaves his food, his drink, and his desire for My sake." For the fasting person are two joys: a joy at the time of his breaking the fast, and a joy at the time of meeting his Lord. And the change in the breath of the mouth of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the scent of musk. Fasting is a shield. Fasting is a shield.
حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كل عمل بن ادم يضاعف الحسنة عشر امثالها إلى سبعمائة ضعف قال الله تعالى إلا الصوم فأنه لي وانا اجزي به يدع طعامه وشرابه وشهوته من اجلي للصائم فرحتان فرحة عند فطره وفرحة عند لقاء ربه ولخلوف فم الصائم اطيب عند الله من ريح المسك الصوم جنة الصوم جنة
