Hadith 4:386
Muhammad bin Bakr narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Ata’, who said: Ibn ‘Abbas used to forbid singling out the day that passes by a person [for fasting], and he used to forbid fasting the known days. And he used to forbid fasting the months, lest one make a mistake.
حدثنا محمد بن بكر عن بن جريج عن عطاء قال كان بن عباس ينهى عن افراد اليوم كل ما مر بالإنسان وعن صيام الأيام المعلومة وكان ينهى عن صيام الأشهر لا يخطئن ( ( ( يخطأن ) ) )
