Hadith 4:461
Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Abd al-A’la, who said: I saw Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami. He was cupped while he was fasting at the setting of the sun, approximately at the time that corresponds to the breaking of his fast. I said to him, "O Abu Abd al-Rahman, cupping is only disliked for the fasting person." He said, "It is only disliked for him out of fear of weakness."
حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن عبد الأعلى قال رأيت أبا عبد الرحمن السلمي احتجم وهو صائم عند غروب الشمس نحوا مما يوافق شرطة فطره فقلت له يا أبا عبد الرحمن إنما يكره الحجامة للصائم قال إنما تكره له مخافة الضعف
