Hadith 4:462
Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn ‘Abis, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from the companions of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, only forbade cupping for the fasting person and continuous fasting (al-wisal) out of compassion for his companions.
حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن عبد الرحمن بن عابس ( ( ( عباس ) ) ) عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى عن أصحاب محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم قالوا إنما نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الحجامة للصائم والوصال في الصيام إبقاء على اصحابه
