Hadith 4:478
Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Ash’ath, from al-Hasan, who said regarding a man who arrived during Ramadan at the beginning of the day and had already eaten: He said: He shall not eat for the remainder of his day, out of dislike for resembling the polytheists, until the night.
حدثنا محمد بن أبي عدي عن أشعث عن الحسن قال في رجل قدم في رمضان أول النهار وقد أكل قال لا يأكل بقية يومه كراهية أن يتشبه بالمشركين إلى الليل
