Hadith 4:487
Abu Usama narrated to us, from Abu al-Umays, from Qays ibn Muslim, from Tariq ibn Shihab, from Abu Musa, who said: "The day of Ashura is a day which the Jews venerate and take as a festival." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Fast it."
