Hadith 4:515
Waki’ ibn al-Jarrah narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Dhi’b, from al-Qasim ibn ‘Abbas, from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar, from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "If I remain until next year, I will surely fast the ninth," meaning the day of ‘Ashura.
حدثنا وكيع بن الجراح عن بن أبي ذئب عن القاسم بن عباس عن عبد الله بن عمر عن بن عباس قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه ( ( ( لئن ) ) ) وسلم لأن بقيت إلى قابل لأصومن التاسع يعني يوم عاشوراء
