Hadith 4:573
Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, who said: I entered upon Qays ibn Abi Hazim, and he called for a drink for me and said, "Drink." I said, "I do not want it." He said, "Are you fasting?" I said, "Yes." He said, "For I heard Abdullah say: 'If food or drink is offered to one of you while he is fasting, let him say: I am fasting.'"
حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن أبي إسحاق قال دخلت على قيس بن أبي حازم فدعا لي بشراب فقال اشرب فقلت لا أريد قال أصائم أنت قلت نعم قال فإني سمعت عبد الله يقول إذا عرض على أحدكم طعام أو شراب وهو صائم فليقل اني صائم
