Hadith 4:588
Asbat ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Mutarrif, from Abu al-Hasan, from al-Harith, from Ali, who said: "If you see the crescent moon at the beginning of the day, do not break your fast. And if you see it at the end of the day, then break your fast."
حدثنا أسباط بن محمد عن مطرف عن أبي الحسن عن الحارث عن علي قال إذا رأيتم الهلال أول النهار فلا تفطروا وإذا رأيتموه من آخر النهار فافطروا
