Hadith 4:596
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Abu Ya‘fur, from his father, who said: The crescent of Ramadan was sighted while al-Mughirah was over Kufa. He did not go out [to the people] until the next day, then he went out and addressed the people while on a camel, then he departed.
حدثنا بن نمير عن أبي يعفور عن أبيه قال رئي هلال رمضان والمغيرة على الكوفة فلم يخرج حتى كان من الغد فخرج فخطب الناس على بعير ثم انصرف
