Hadith 4:6
Hushaym narrated to us, he said: Mujalid informed us, from al-Sha'bi, from Ali, that he used to deliver a sermon when Ramadan arrived. He would say: "This is the blessed month, which Allah has made fasting obligatory upon you, and He has not made standing [in prayer] during it obligatory upon you."
حدثنا هشيم قال أخبرنا مجالد عن الشعبي عن علي أنه كان يخطب إذا حضر رمضان يقول هذا الشهر المبارك الذي افترض الله عليكم صيامه ولم يفترض عليكم قيامه
