9470. Al-Dahhak ibn Makhlad (Makhlad) narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Amr ibn Dinar: He said: ‘Uthman informed us that he would permit the testimony of Hashim ibn ‘Uyaynah, or someone else, regarding the sighting of the crescent moon.
