Hadith 4:645
Al-Thaqafi narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas, from Ubadah ibn al-Samit, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) came out to us, intending to inform us about the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr). Two men argued, so he said: "I came out intending to inform you about the Night of Decree, but such-and-such person and such-and-such person argued, and perhaps that is better. Seek it in the ninth, the seventh, and the fifth."
حدثنا الثقفي عن حميد عن أنس عن عبادة بن الصامت قال خرج علينا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو يريد أن يخبرنا بليلة القدر فتلاحى ( ( ( فتلاحا ) ) ) رجلان فقال إني خرجت وأنا أريد أن أخبركم بليلة القدر فتلاحى ( ( ( فتلاحا ) ) ) فلان وفلان لعل ذلك أن يكون خيرا التمسوها في التاسعة والسابعة والخامسة
