Hadith 4:648
Marwan ibn Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Hassan ibn Abdullah al-Sahmi, who said: I asked Zirr ibn Hubaysh about the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr). He said: Umar, Hudhayfah, and a group of the companions of the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) did not doubt that it is the night of the twenty-seventh. Zirr said: So I observed it continuously.
حدثنا مروان بن معاوية عن حسان بن عبد الله السهمي قال سألت زر بن حبيش عن ليلة القدر فقال كان عمر وحذيفة وناس من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لا يشكون فيها أنها ليلة سبع وعشرين قال زر فواصلها
