Hadith 4:651
Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Uthman ibn Mawhab, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: If he begins with the obligatory [fast], there is no harm in him fasting it during the ten [days of Dhu al-Hijjah].
