Hadith 4:66
Sharīk narrated to us, from Abū Isḥāq, from ‘Amr—meaning Ibn Ḥurayth—(Jarīr) who said: The companions of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) were the quickest of people to break their fast and the slowest of them to take the pre-dawn meal (suḥūr).
حدثنا شريك عن أبي إسحاق عن عمرو يعني بن حريث ( ( ( جرير ) ) ) قال كان أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اعجل الناس إفطارا وابطأهم سحورا
