Hadith 4:666
Waki’ narrated to us, from ‘Uyaynah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman, from his father, from Abu Bakrah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) saying: "Seek it"—meaning the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr)—"in the ten [nights] of Ramadan, when nine remain, or when seven remain, or five, or three, or the last night."
حدثنا وكيع عن عيينة بن عبد الرحمن عن أبيه عن أبي بكرة قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول التمسوها يعني ليلة القدر في العشر من رمضان لتسع يبقين أو لسبع يبقين أو لخمس أو لثلاث أو لآخر ليلة
