Hadith 4:691
Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from al-Hasan ibn ‘Amr, who said: It was mentioned to al-Sha’bi that ‘Ubayd al-Maktab fasts the entire year, and he disliked that.
حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن الحسن بن عمرو قال ذكر للشعبي أن عبيد ( ( ( عبيدا ) ) ) المكتب يصوم الدهر كله فكره ذلك
