Hadith 4:705
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Jami' ibn Shaddad, from al-Aswad ibn Hilal, who said: Abdullah ibn Mirdas came to Abdullah ibn Mas'ud and said: "I woke up in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity), so should I complete my fast?" Abdullah said: "You woke up, and prayer became permissible for you, and fasting became permissible for you. Perform ghusl (ritual bath) and complete your fast."
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن جامع بن شداد عن الأسود بن هلال قال جاء عبد الله بن مرداس إلى عبد الله بن مسعود فقال إني اصبحت وأنا جنب أفأتم صومي قال عبد الله اصبحت فحل لك الصلاة وحل لك الصيام اغتسل وأتم صومك
