Hadith 4:706
Waki’ narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from ‘Umarah ibn ‘Umayr, from Abu ‘Atiyyah al-Wadi’i, who said: Two men disputed in the mosque regarding a man who wakes up while he is in a state of major ritual impurity (junub). So they went to ‘Abdullah [ibn Mas’ud], and I went with them. One of them asked him and said, "Does he fast?" He said, "Yes." He said, "Even if it is a woman?" He said, "Even if it is a woman." He said, "Even if he slept intentionally?" He said, "Even if he slept intentionally."
حدثنا وكيع عن الأعمش عن عمارة بن عمير عن أبي عطية الوادعي قال تدارا أو ( ( ( وتماريا ) ) ) تمارا رجلان في المسجد في رجل يصبح وهو جنب فانطلقا إلى عبد الله فانطلقت معهما فسأله أحدهما فقال أيصوم قال نعم قال فإن كان من النساء قال وإن كان من النساء قال وإن نام متعمدا قال وإن نام متعمدا
