Hadith 4:71
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim al-Taymi, from his father, who said: I went out with Hudhayfah to al-Mada'in during Ramadan. When the dawn appeared, he said, "Was any one of you eating or drinking?" We said, "As for a man who intends to fast, then no." Then we traveled until we thought he was slow in [performing] the prayer. Then he dismounted and prayed.
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم التيمي عن أبيه قال خرجت مع حذيفة إلى المدائن في رمضان فلما طلع الفجر قال هل كان أحد منكم آكلا أو شاربا قلنا اما رجل يريد الصوم فلا ثم سرنا حتى استبطأناه في الصلاة ثم نزل فصلى
