Hadith 4:722
Waki’ narrated to us, from Hammad bin Salamah, from Bishr bin Harb, from Abu Sa’id, he said: I heard him saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade continuous fasting (al-wisal). And this sister of mine is practicing continuous fasting, and I am forbidding her.
