Hadith 4:723
Waki’ narrated to us, from Isra’il, from ‘Abd al-A’la, from Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman, from ‘Ali, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would continue his fast until the time of *al-sahar* (the pre-dawn meal).
