Hadith 4:731
Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, from Dawud, from Abu al-'Aliyah, that he said regarding *al-wisal* (continuous fasting) in fasting: Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said: "Then complete the fast until the night." And when the night comes, he is a breaker of the fast; then if he wishes, he fasts, and if he wishes, he leaves it.
حدثنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم عن داود عن أبي العالية أنه قال في الوصال في الصيام قال الله تبارك وتعالى @QB@ ثم أتموا الصيام إلى الليل @QE@ 1 وإذا جاء الليل فهو مفطر ثم إن شاء صام وإن شاء ترك
