Hadith 4:740
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Humayd informed us, from Anas, that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) swore an oath [to abstain] from his wives for a month. He then sat in a loft of his. Then he descended on the twenty-ninth [day]. They said: "O Messenger of Allah, you swore an oath for a month." He said: "The month is twenty-nine."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال اخبرنا حميد عن أنس أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم آلى من نسائه شهرا فقعد في مشربة له ثم نزل في تسع وعشرين فقالوا يا رسول الله إنك آليت شهرا فقال إن الشهر تسع وعشرون
