Hadith 4:807
9673. Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from Ma’mar, from al-Zuhri, who said: There is no i’tikaf except in a congregational mosque in which the congregational prayer is held.
حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري قال لا اعتكاف إلا في مسجد جماعة يجمع فيه
