Hadith 4:821
Ali ibn Mushir narrated to us, from Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid, from al-Sha'bi, regarding a woman who vowed to seclude herself (i'tikaf) for fifty days, then she secluded herself for forty. Then her husband came and sent for her, so she came to him. He said: "Complete what remains."
حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن إسماعيل بن أبي خالد عن الشعبي في إمرأة نذرت أن تعتكف خمسين يوما فاعتكفت أربعين ثم جاء زوجها فأرسل إليها فأتته فقال تتم ما بقي
