Hadith 4:843
9709. Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Layth, from Abd al-Malik, from Ata, from Ibn Umar, who said: A woman came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Prophet of Allah, what is the right of the husband over his wife?" He said: "She shall not fast except with his permission, except for the obligatory (fast). If she does so, she has sinned and it will not be accepted from her."
