Hadith 4:847
Waki’ narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from ‘Ata’, from Abu al-Khalil, from Abu Qatada, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Fasting the day of ‘Arafah is an expiation for two years: a year that has passed and a year that is to come."
حدثنا وكيع عن بن أبي ليلى عن عطاء عن أبي الخليل عن أبي قتادة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صوم عرفة كفارة سنتين سنة ماضية وسنة مقبلة ( ( ( مستقبلة ) ) )
