Hadith 4:857
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Sa'd ibn Sa'id, he said: I heard Umar ibn Thabit, he said: I heard Abu Ayyub al-Ansari saying: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever fasts Ramadan then follows it with six from Shawwal, he has fasted the [entire] year, or it is as if he has fasted the [entire] year."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا عبد الله بن المبارك عن سعد بن سعيد قال سمعت عمر بن ثابت قال سمعت أبا ايوب ألأنصاري يقول قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من صام رمضان ثم أتبعه بستة من شوال فقد صام الدهر أو فكأنما صام الدهر
